Ubuntu Cycling Foundation (CIC) was conceived by former UCI World Championship medallist cyclist and international educationalist Dr Marlon Moncrieffe. It advances research, education, and community cycling opportunities across Africa, working with schools, educators, and local leaders to develop programmes that support learning, leadership, and youth development. Through school-based initiatives, community workshops, coaching, and teacher education, the Foundation promotes cycling knowledge, mechanical skills, and pathways into sport, education, and personal growth. It also fosters local, regional, and international partnerships to strengthen cycling cultures across the continent, with particular attention to expanding opportunities for young African women in cycling and competitive racing. Ubuntu Cycling welcomes partners, sponsors, and supporters to help grow cycling education, opportunity, and community development across Africa.
